How often can I take Nevada traffic school?
You may take the course to get a point reduction once within 12 months. This is the same whether you have been court-ordered or not.
If I take this course, do I still get demerit points on my license?
If you are taking this traffic school response to a court order, you will not be eligible for a point reduction as this is in lieu of points. If you are taking
this course because you have at least 3 points and no more than 11 points on your license, upon successful completion you are eligible for a 3-point
deduction of demerit points.

If I take this traffic safety course, does it remove the conviction from my driving record?
When you attend traffic safety school voluntarily as opposed to a court order, completion of a traffic safety course removes 3 demerit points from
your driving record. A conviction will stay on your driving history for a minimum of 3 years.
How do I know which traffic safety course I should take?
If you have received three or more violations within the past 12 months, you are eligible for the 8-hour course. If you have received two or less
violations within the past 12 months, you are eligible to take the 5-hour course.
